Hyperbaric Chamber FAQ
Answers to the questions we are asked most often about mild hyperbaric chambers — specifications, safety, delivery, installation, commercial terms and after-sales support. If your question is not here, contact our team and we will answer directly.
Specifications and technology
What pressure do your chambers reach?
Our range operates at 1.1–1.7 atm. The POLARIS Duo is rated to 1.75 atm. These are mild hyperbaric systems, distinct from clinical HBOT which typically runs at 2.0–2.4 ATA with 100% medical oxygen.
How is the oxygen delivered?
The cabin is pressurised with air; enriched oxygen is delivered to the user by mask or headset at ≥80% concentration (AURA One) or ≥90% (NEPTUNE Flow, LUMINA One, TITAN Duo, POLARIS Duo).
Are they hard-shell or soft-sided?
All our chambers are rigid pressure vessels built from aviation-grade steel with fully welded seams.
How long does pressurisation take?
Between 5 and 25 minutes depending on model and selected programme. The LUMINA One and NEPTUNE Flow are designed around a 5–15 minute cycle.
How noisy is a chamber in operation?
Operating noise is ≤50 dB on the AURA One, comparable to a quiet conversation.
Safety
What happens if pressure gets too high?
Every chamber has three independent pressure-relief systems — mechanical, electronic solenoid and manual. Any one of the three can prevent over-pressurisation.
Is there an emergency function?
Yes. A 4G emergency call transmits a distress signal with cabin oxygen and pressure data to a monitoring centre, and the chambers include fire suppression designed for high-oxygen environments where standard sprinklers are unsuitable.
Who should not use a hyperbaric chamber?
Untreated pneumothorax is widely regarded as an absolute contraindication. Anyone with ear or sinus conditions, respiratory disease, pregnancy or recent surgery should consult a physician first. Read our safety guide.
Delivery, installation and after-sales
Do you ship internationally?
Yes. We supply clients across North America, Europe, the Middle East and Southeast Asia, with FOB, CIF and DDP Incoterms available.
How is installation handled?
Chambers are delivered with full technical documentation, and installation is supported remotely with guided video commissioning and operating manuals. On-site commissioning can be arranged.
What payment terms do you accept?
Standard T/T and letter of credit terms.
Is after-sales service included?
Yes — after-sales service is included globally, with remote technical support for operators.
Commercial and OEM
Do you support OEM and ODM?
Yes. Branding, exterior finish, upholstery, control-panel language and documentation can be customised. See our manufacturing capabilities.
Can I order a single unit?
Yes for standard models. Distributor and volume tiers are available on request.
What certifications are provided?
CE marking and ISO 13485 quality management documentation are supplied with every order, together with technical files and manuals.
Do you have FDA clearance?
Our chambers carry CE marking and ISO 13485 documentation for European and international markets. We do not claim FDA clearance — buyers should confirm the regulatory requirements that apply in their own jurisdiction.
Choosing a model
Which model should I choose?
See best hyperbaric chamber by use case for a shortlist, or the comparison guide for full specifications.
Can a business and a home user share the same model?
Possibly, but commercial duty cycles are much heavier. If you will be selling sessions, choose a model engineered for continuous operation.
